Morning light, as intriguing as it is, can be quite a bitch when it's not coming from the right direction. But I loved the shape and old-time ring of these two row boats and was determined to get at least something out of this shot. Took it with tripod at various exposures and combined them during post processing. Taken around 6:30 a.m. in the tony harbor town of Greenport on Long Island's North Fork. I like the faded and almost monochrome feel this image conveys.
