Matching chairs and fly-swatters on the porch

I am one of the lucky ones who loves their in-laws, but this made me laugh when stepping onto the porch in the morning. I stopped laughing halfway through my first cup of coffee, which was when I realized how many pesky flies and so-called LADY bugs I was up against. Due to the incredibly warm fall even in the "North Country", there's no other defense but to swat away as fast as you can! But I loved this initial set-up because it seems to imply people who nevertheless are absent from the scene. The window reflection added to the shot and if you look close enough, you can spot me taking the pic in the center panel.
