Rushed
Museum of Modern Art, NYC
These are two levels of the atrium at the Museum of Modern Art, and this is me in "city mode". Pretty pics go out the window fast and weird stuff pops up. Most people don't like it but, I do ;)
I absolutely love it, I think the contrast between the fast and slow motion is fabulous and absolutely conveys movement in the MOMA for me. I also like the picture for the architectural detail, everything is exact and square (cool and planned), yet the material (organic and slightly warm in color) is not.
Thanks Barb, I really appreciate your comment. You really hit the nail on the head and describe exactly what intrigued me about this shot. Glad it caught your attention ;)
Welcome to my photo blog, where you can find some of the visual snippets I encounter in my daily life and travels. Photography has been a passion of mine for quite some time and nothing makes me happier than being out "on the prowl" with my camera. Saltydog is a reference to my black Labrador Retriever Boris, who often tags along on my outings and loves to splash in the - salty - ocean waters. Oh, and it's also a favorite cocktail of mine. Vodka and grapefruit juice in a salt-rimmed glass over ice :D .
